The World Health Organisation state that "Adolescence (10–19 years) is a unique and formative time. Whilst most adolescents have good mental health, multiple physical, emotional and social changes, including exposure to poverty, abuse, or violence, can make adolescents vulnerable to mental health problems".
Healthcare Professionals: I have implemented a Randomised Controlled Trial in a national high secure hospital and completed award winning doctoral research. Having published two clinical books and numerous chapters and papers I can provide both clinical and research supervision and supportive mentoring for music therapists and psychologists.
Initially I trained as a professional musician at the Royal Academy of Music and subsequently working professionally as an orchestral musician, teacher, soloist and session musician.
